Bardgett, J. This is an appeal involving five consolidated Butler County Circuit Court suits, all of which were filed by certain utilities
and a railroad to recover school district taxes paid under protest. The circuit court found against plaintiffs-appellants
and in favor of defendant-respondent Paul Hogg, collector of revenue of Butler County, and the school districts involved.
This is the most recent of a number of cases 1 we have had in the past few years involving the construction of sec. 137.073,
RSMo 1969, 2 a revenue law of Missouri. Thiscourt has jurisdiction. Art. 5, sec. 3, Mo.Const., as amended 1970.
